What's up Wednesday

I've read quite a few of these What's up Wednesday blog post. My dear friend Bailey does it and I love that she does. It's a great weekly update for what's up with her, especially if we go a few days without chatting. So, I decided to give it a go this week.

WHAT'S UP WEDNESDAY is hosted by Jaime Morrow and Erin Funk. Check out their pages to learn more about it and the other meme participants!

What I'm reading.
This is horrible, I know, but the answer is nothing. This past week has been busy and I haven't read anything for fun. I have been reading The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead, just not this week. Oh! You know what? I did read some of Honesty by Carrie Butler. It's a really fun read. Cole is such a smartass, just gotta love him.
See? This week has been all over the place. I can't even remember what I've done and haven't done.

What works for me.
This week, I would have to say I have no idea. My novel writing took a backseat this week because Fierce's blog tour is going on, so I've been writing a lot of blog posts, and I started training again. Being me and because a gymmate is preparing for a fight, I jumped in full steam as far as amount of training goes, and that impacted my writing time. I'm also at various stages in three different projects, and trying to figure out a way to get one going because it's been kind of stagnate. I think, though, that I've figured it out, and I probably can say that training is what worked that out for me. So, if I have to give an answer for what worked for me this week as far as writing goes, it would be exercise.

What else I've been up to.
As I stated above, I went back to boxing this week after being off for quite some time. It's great to be back. It also means I have to start working on finding balance again--something I had trouble with before. I pretty much put the week toward boxing and the blog tour, knowing I wouldn't get much else done but accepted it since my body needs to adjust back to it. Next week, though, I've got to crack down on time management and balance.

I've also been getting ready for the FIERCE BLOG TOUR Lots of fun guests posts, and I also made a video that demonstrates some of the very real moves used in Fierce. You can watch the video here, and you can find out about the other tour stops here. Fierce is also on sale for 99 cents through 9/26/14.

And work. The day job is keeping me quite busy.

Good luck with the blog tour! Those are fun, but can be quite exhausting.

Good luck with the boxing! I am all admiration. Exercise is important for me, too, and I've just got back in the gym after most of six weeks away from it. My muscles are sore, but in a good way. And my brain is clearer.

Thanks! I totally agree- it's good for the brain just as much as the body

Reading is always the first thing to go on the back burner for me too when I'm busy, so I hear you on that. Three writing projects? Wow! I'm cursed to only be able to concentrate on one at a time--maybe two if they're from the same series and one involves basic revisions. I'm always impressed by writers who can juggle so many projects! Good luck with finding that balance and with your book blog tour! :)

Thank you! So far, I'm not having much luck with the three projects lol. I think I need to concentrate on just one for a while.

Exercise does definitely get my brain going, so I really don't know why I don't make it a regular part of my week. Boxing? Wow! That's pretty cool! As for juggling three projects, I'm in the same boat myself. And they're all at various stages like you mentioned too. Here's hoping we're both able to find ways to get our projects going again!

You did a WUW post! YAY! I am catching up on blog reading this morning before starting in on real work, and I was thrilled to see this post. YAY! I swear to have a WUW next week for you, too. :)

It does, definitely. I'm not juggling well, so let me know if you find a good way to do it lol. Being at various stages kind of helps, ish...maybe. I feel like I'm just not getting enough done on any of them.
